realism painting

Twenty-four year old artist, Alexa Meade, paints portraits on people.  She paints acrylic paint directly on live models, so they appear to be two-dimensional paintings themselves. Oh my goodness, HOW INCREDIBLE!

print, glitter, fur and a grocery store?

ok, so grocery shopping completely intimidates me.  I usually go into the store, see flowers , "oh these are pretty!" Then, I walk around absolutely clueless. (There is just way too many different kinds of food.) so, by now i am overwhelmed, but i have to leave with some food... so i make a b-line to the only aisle i do know, the snack food aisle. I pick up my box(es) of fruit roll-ups and make a mad dash to the checkout line. before i pay, i see the new Lucky magazine, pick it up. i leave with a bag full of flowers, fruit roll-ups and magazines- defeated. how does this girl makes it look so effortless?

i guess i need:

1. a faux fur jacket- check.

2. a long colorful dress- check.

3. killer glitter pumps- check.

4. a wooden picnic basket- (nicole, can i borrow that from you?)

5. red fingernails. love. and coral red lips- check. and check.

i'm all set. this will probably be the only way i will enjoy (or even go) grocery shopping.

I'm engaged!
the day has come... I will be marrying my high school sweetheart,  andrew merrill miller! So i guess that makes 3 "tying the knots" for today's post... countdown starts: June 11!

...7 months away WHAT?! i better start planning...
